PREGNANCY AND POSTNATAL CLASSES are held at Shawford Parish Hall near Winchester. There is plenty of parking and easy access to Junctions 11 and 12 of the M3. To contact us, click here.

Courses are usually held in blocks of six and are geared to the individual needs of the students. The classes last  an hour and a half. In addition after the postnatal class there is half an hour for tea, biscuits and chat! The cost is £48 for a six week course of either Yoga for Pregnancy or Postnatal Yoga for Mums and Babies.  You can often join during a 6 week pregnancy course-just contact Eryl to check availability.

ACTIVE BIRTH ONE-ONE-SESSION with Marion Symes for you and your partner, usually in your own home. The aim is to help you both to feel confident, well informed and well prepared for your baby’s birth. There is practice of labour and birth positions, breathing, relaxation, massage plus practical tips for you both. This can be a great addition to all you have learnt in the yoga for pregnancy classes.

Yoga for Pregnancy  
These classes are suitable from 14 weeks till the end of pregnancy. They provide a valuable support and information network as well as teaching Yoga techniques to assist women during pregnancy, labour and birth. Eryl is passionate about women taking time out every week to acknowledge their pregnancy, and believes it helps improve the quality not only of pregnancy but of postnatal life too. Do remember that you are entitled to time off work to attend these classes!

18 & 25 May 2 extra sessions with Marion Symes at a cost of £16 in total - spaces available (you need to have either: been attending the May classes or be booking on to the June/July classes to be eligible)

You can weekly on a 'pay as you go' basis if your baby is due during a block of classes


 
Postnatal Yoga for Mums and Babies
These classes aim to begin to tone the body after birth with special focus on the abdominals, pelvic floor and alignment. Also this is a time to build confidence, bonding with your baby as you both have fun doing some gentle baby Yoga stretches together plus that all important relaxation  This is a chance to meet other new mums and exchange feelings, tips and ideas with them in a relaxed and supportive environment.
